The Digital Design program focuses on broad, transferable skills to prepare students for employment in digital and web publishing, graphic designing and multi-media animation. The content includes practical experiences in computer-generated art and text, graphic design, graphic production, electronic design skills, preparation of electronic layouts and illustrations, and development of specialized skills in multimedia presentations.

Recognizing the workplace requires a broad range of know and skills, the program is taught via a multi-discipline approach, which includes graphic designing, marketing, business simulation, written and oral communications, problem solving, and team building.  Additionally, Adobe®  certification examinations are conducted at no charge for students in Digital Design 2 and Digital Design 3.

A student who successfully completes Introduction to IT, Digital Design 1, Digital Design 2, and Digital Design 3 will earn Occupational Completion Point (OCP) C, and Industry Classification Title: Digital Assistant Designer. The student may also qualify for the "Bright Futures" Scholarship.

As an Adobe® Test Center, students can earn a certification in Dreamweaver, Flash, and Photoshop CS3.
